MIGHTY XLVI will be held at the Armstrong (the
building for the math department ) on the downtown campus of West Virginia University in Morgantown,
WV.
West Virginia
University is located in Morgantown, an award winning "small'' city with a
metropolitan population of about 80,000. The city is at the intersection
of interstate routes I-79 and I-68, with ready access to Pittsburgh (75
minutes) and Washington, D.C. (3. 5hrs).
From I-79 Southbound (towards Charleston):
- From
I-79 Southbound take exit 155 toward West Virginia University
- Turn
left onto Osage Rd
- Turn
slight right
- Turn
slight right onto US-19 (3.2 miles)
- Parking
lot is on the right (Location 7 or 11 on the downtown campus map)
From I-79 Northbound (towards Pittsburgh):
- Merge onto I-68 E via EXIT 148 toward CUMBERLAND.
- Take the US-119 exit- EXIT 1- toward UNIVERSITY AVE.
/ DOWNTOWN.
- Turn LEFT onto US-119 (4 miles)
- US-119 becomes UNIVERSITY AVE.
- Turn LEFT onto BEECHURST AVE
- Parking lot is on the left (Location 7 or 11 on the downtown campus map)
From I-68 Westbound (towards Morgantown):
- Take
exit 7 toward WV-705/Airport
- Turn RIGHT onto CR-857 S
- Turn LEFT onto US-119
- Stay STRAIGHT to go onto COLLEGE AVE.
- Turn RIGHT onto UNIVERSITY AVE
- Turn LEFT onto CAMPUS Dr.
- Turn LEFT onto BEECHURST AVE
- Parking Lot is on the right (Location 7 or 11 on the
downtown campus map)
Parking: MIGHTY participants
can use Parking Lot 7 and Parking Lot 11 on Saturday, April 26, 2008, from 7:00AM to 6:00PM. Please do not use any places that marked “decal parking”,
which are in Lot 11, along the river. If you incidentally receive a
parking ticket in these two lots on April 26, 2008, please give your ticket to Hong-Jian Lai and let him
take care of the matter.
