Application Procedure

Directions and considerations in applying for admission and financial aid. Note that you may initially choose to submit your application to the Mathematics Department for review without any application fee. February 15 is the deadline to ensure that your application receives full consideration for financial aid in the subsequent fall semester. Results of the GRE Subject Test in Mathematics should be submitted, although students may opt for an alternative exam given at the Department in mid-February. Alternative exam information: In place of the GRE Subject Test in Mathematics, applicants may opt to take an exam that will be offered at WVU on Saturday, February 14, 2009 from 10:30 AM - 1:30 AM in Room 315 Armstrong Hall. To register for the exam, send an email to the Graduate Director at gradprog@math.wvu.edu.
